In addition to performing the Brown Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release Procedure we treat all types of hand and upper extremity problems. This includes tendonitis i.e. trigger finger, deQuervain’s, intersection syndrome; injuries of nerve (microsurgical nerve repair), extensor tendon injuries (swan neck, boutonniere, mallet deformities); flexor tendon injuries (lacerations, avulsions i.e. Jersey injuries); excision of tumors i.e. ganglions, soft tissue tumors, mucous cysts; epicondylitis (tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow); fractures (carpal, metacarpal and phalangeal); finger tip and amputation injuries; nail bed infections; Dupuytren’s contracture; arthritic problems (osteoarthritis) such as basal joint arthritis involving the thumb requiring arthroplasty (joint replacement) or other joints requiring arthrodesis (joint fusion); rheumatoid arthritis requiring arthroplasty (joint replacement), tendon transfers, fusions or a myriad of other procedures that can improve the function of a rheumatoid hand; congenital deformities (birth defect) such as polydactyly, syndactyly, duplications, etc.; nerve compression syndromes i.e. cubital tunnel syndrome, supinator syndrome, pronator syndrome; wrist arthroscopy; arthroscopic aided ligament repair i.e. TFCC (triangular fibro-cartilage complex); correction of wrist ligament derangements; repair isolated ligament injury i.e. gamekeeper or skier’s thumb; ligament reconstruction; tendon transfer; tendon reconstruction and many other hand/upper extremity problems.
